Thirty-Seven Andrew Goodman Campuses Recognized As 2024 ALL IN Most Engaged Campuses For College Student Voting

The campuses are recognized for outstanding efforts to increase nonpartisan student voter participation in the 2024 election.

Today, thirty-seven Andrew Goodman Campuses have been recognized by the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge (ALL IN)  2024 ALL IN Most Engaged Campuses. The ALL IN Most Engaged Campuses for College Student Voting Awards recognize colleges and universities for outstanding efforts to increase nonpartisan student voter participation. The Andrew Goodman Campuses joined a group of 471 colleges and universities recognized by ALL IN for completing four core actions:

  1. Participating in the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge
  2. Sharing 2022 NSLVE Reports with campus voting data with ALL IN
  3. Developing and submitting a 2024 democratic engagement action plan with ALL IN
  4. Having a current signatory to ALL IN’s Higher Education Presidents’ Commitment to Full Student Voter Participation.

“We are grateful to see thirty-seven of our Andrew Goodman Campuses recognized by ALL IN for their diligent work to increase democratic engagement this year,” says Caroline Smith, Director of Programs at The Andrew Goodman Foundation. “Our Andrew Goodman Ambassadors and Champions are carrying the torch lit sixty years ago during Freedom Summer to build a more just democracy and sustainable future. Their dedication to educating and engaging their peers while breaking down barriers to youth civic engagement gives us hope for the future.”

Throughout the Fall 2024 Semester alone, Andrew Goodman Ambassadors hosted over 700 events, registered 8,273 people to vote, recruited 71 poll workers, and engaged with 200,000+ people. Young people understand voting is our way to have a say in addressing the issues calling for change, and are showing up to answer the calls.
