The Andrew Goodman Foundation Receives Recognition For Excellence In Transparency And Programming
The Andrew Goodman Foundation received recognition from GreatNonprofits, the leading website for community recommendations of charities and nonprofits, and Candid, a nonprofit that provides the most comprehensive data and insights about the social sector.
The Andrew Goodman Foundation (AGF) announced today it has been named a “2025 Great Nonprofit” by GreatNonprofits and has received the 2025 Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid.
The Andrew Goodman Foundation works to make young voices and votes a powerful force in democracy. AGF supports youth leadership development, voting accessibility, and social justice initiatives on campuses across the country with mini-grants to select institutions of higher learning and other financial assistance to student leaders.
“We are honored to be named a 2025 Top-Rated Nonprofit by GreatNonprofits and to receive the 2025 Platinum Seal of Transparency,” says Caroline Smith, AGF’s Director of Programs. “We are proud of our accomplishments over the past year, including engaging with nearly half a million people throughout the Fall 2024 Semester alone.”
The Top-Rated Nonprofit Award is based on the rating and number of reviews that AGF received from Andrew Goodman Ambassadors, Champions, and Alumni, and supporters. “The impact created by the Andrew Goodman Foundation cannot be understated. As an Andrew Goodman Vote Everywhere Team Leader, I can attest to the critical role that the organization plays on my campus, both in facilitating crucial get-out-the-vote work and in terms of creating professional development opportunities for students! The Andrew Goodman Foundation has been an absolutely transformative force in my life – it has enabled me to have an outsized impact at my school and has created many further development opportunities for me to boot!” – Grant Pitts, Andrew Goodman Ambassador, University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
Receiving the 2025 Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid represents The Andrew Goodman Foundation’s commitment to transparency, impact, and ensuring that every dollar given is used to empower young civic leaders, protect voting rights, and continue the fight for democracy.
