Do I need voter ID?
First-time voters may need to show ID. A valid ID is any current and valid photo identification, like a driver’s license, student ID card, or passport. You may also present a utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, voter registration card, or another government document if the document displays your name and registration address.
This is only applicable to voters registered in California, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. If you plan to vote in a different state, please check your state’s voter ID requirements.
