Do I Need Voter ID?
All Wisconsin voters must show ID.
Are student IDs accepted?
Yes, if the ID displays your signature, the date the card was issued, and an expiration date within two years of the issue date. In addition, your student ID must be accompanied by a separate document that proves enrollment, such as a tuition bill, class schedule, or verification letter issued by your school.
NOTE: Your UW-Platteville student ID is not valid as voter ID. Students who need a voter ID card can obtain one from the Pioneer Passport office located in the Markee Pioneer Student Center.
Additionally, UW-Platteville students can print their enrollment verification form from their student center page in the PASS system. A Print Voter Enrollment link is located under the Personal Information section.
