Vote Everywhere integrates the social web and offline events to create opportunities for young adults to discuss citizen engagement and participate in democracy together. The initiative includes a growing Content Toolkit (social media programming and downloadable assets), College Ambassador Program, Meetups and Partnerships with civic technologies and youth engagement organizations. Ultimately, Vote Everywhere is The Andrew Goodman Foundation's 21st Century call-to-action for millennials and their allies to vote together, always and everywhere.
Use the Content Toolkit. #VoteEverywhere unfolds across the social web, sites include: Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube and SoundCloud. We invite you to share, create and/or remix #VoteEverywhere content and help spread the following message with friends: vote together, always and everywhere.
Offline, we encourage you to bring friends to a Vote Everywhere Meetup in your community to connect with passionate civic do-gooders, exchange information and resources, and register or re-ignite voters.
The cornerstone of the Vote Everywhere initiative is the Vote Everywhere Ambassador Program which supports civic engagement "Ambassadors" on college campuses nationally. Ambassadors will serve from August to December 2013, working to interest peers in civic participation, spearheading policy discussions, and taking action to create change. In addition, Vote Everywhere Ambassadors receive leadership development training with global leaders in civic engagement, connect with our national partner organizations to deliver resources on campus, and contribute to a growing content tool kit (blogging, social media conversations, flyers and other collateral).
The application period for the Fall 2013 is now open For more information please contact, Ciara Copell, Vote Everywhere Coordinator: Ciara.Copell@andrewgoodman.org.
We welcome opportunities to empower millennials to participate in democracy. We seek non-profit organizations, businesses and new technologies working in the areas of civic engagement, voter registration, voter education and empowerment; potential collaborations include: co-creating #VoteEverywhere content, featuring the non-profit or technology application as an expert/resource in our Ambassador Program, presenting at a Vote Everywhere Meetup and more!
Vote Everywhere is built to serve as a broad call-to-action to help expand the work (i.e. campaigns, registration efforts, etc.) of voting rights advocates and allies. Please contact Sylvia Golbin-Goodman, community [at] andrewgoodman [dot] org to discuss a potential partnership.
The Andrew Goodman Foundation counts on the support of our generous donors to sustain and grow our programs. Your tax-deductible gift supports the work of educating a new generation of civic leaders via the Vote Everywhere Ambassador Program. We have a goal of sponsoring 20 Ambassadors in our inaugural program this fall, help us get there today!
